Millwall Community Trust’s (MCT) Military Veterans Football Programme is delighted to announce Homewood Solutions as their new back-of-shirt sponsor.

The programme in partnership with Military Veteran Football Club provides ex-forces personnel from across London an opportunity to play football via access to Millwall Community Trust’s indoor Lions Centre 3G on Thursday's between 8pm-9pm as well as running Coffee Mornings on Saturday mornings.

Homewood Solutions have been established since 2024.

Homewood Solutions was established, with a passion to put our people and community at the core of our business.

Homewood Solutions invest heavily to help people with ongoing training and industry leading benefit packages.

Daniele Lucia, Director at The Homewood Group said: “At Homewood, we believe in backing people who have given their all for others. Sponsoring the Military Veterans Football Team is our way of showing genuine support and respect for those who have served.

“This partnership goes beyond sport. It’s about helping create a sense of community, purpose, and camaraderie for veterans as they transition into civilian life. Football provides not only physical benefits, but also mental resilience, teamwork, and a strong support network - things we are sure that many veterans value deeply.

“As a company, Homewood is committed to making a positive impact where it matters. Supporting this team allows us to contribute to something meaningful, helping veterans stay connected, active, and supported long after their service ends.

“We’re proud to stand alongside and sponsor the Military Veterans Football Team and play a small part in their continued journey.”

John Scarborough, Millwall Community Trust’s Education & Employability Manager added: “We would like to thank Danielle and Homewood Solutions for their continued support of our Military Veterans Programme this year.

“Their sponsorship plays a vital role in enabling us to deliver weekly football sessions alongside wider support such as our coffee mornings, creating a safe and welcoming environment for both serving personnel and veterans.

“Through this partnership, we are able to keep participants connected, active and supported, using football as a vehicle to bring people together and provide meaningful, wrap around support beyond the pitch.”
