Millwall Community Trust (MCT) is proud to be supporting World Book Day 2026.
World Book Day was created by UNESCO on 23rd April 1995 as a worldwide celebration of books and reading. World Book Day is marked in over 100 countries around the globe.
MCT’s Primary Stars & Schools Co-Ordinator Emily Poole delivered a World Book Day presentation to Grove Primary School before giving free books to the school participants.
World Book Day 2026 (March 5) features the theme "Go All In," encouraging children to dive deeper into their passions—such as gaming, sports, or animals—through reading.
This initiative aligns with the 2026 National Year of Reading, focusing on fostering a love for reading, enhancing wellbeing, and building belonging.
