Millwall FC first-team duo Lukas Jensen and Daniel Kelly visited Bacons College today as part of Millwall Community Trust’s Post-16 Football & Education Academy.
Millwall Community Trust offers a unique opportunity for passionate 16 – 18-year-olds football players, both male and female, to pursue a 2-year Football & Education Scholarship - this course is run at Bacons College as well as other educational site.
Also in attendance throughout the afternoon was Millwall Community Trust CEO Sean Daly.
The duo started the visit by taking part in a Q&A with the participants on the programme where they got to ask questions they’ve always wanted to know the answers to.
Following on from this, the players presented the school with a framed Millwall shirt.
To finish off what had been a great afternoon, the children posed for photographs with the duo.
Nick Farrell, MCT’s Football & Sports Development Officer said: “What an unbelievable afternoon for the participants at Bacons College today.
“The impact these sorts of sessions can have on participants is massive and thank you to Lukas Jensen and Daniel Kelly for coming down and inspiring the next generation."
