Millwall Community Trust Acadmey Attend U23’s Training

  • 21/01/2019

Last week, students from MCT’s Post-16 Academy programme had the opportunity to attend one of Millwall FC Under-23’s training sessions.

The academy students were able to see how footballers train in a professional environment, and learn how tactics, game practice and fitness drills are all incorporated into training sessions at the professional level.

Freddie Ruby, Education and Employability manager, said: “We want to thank the club for opening up their Under 23’s training sessions to our post-16 academy students.

“It was an invaluable experience for the students who were able to learn about training in a professional environment, and all the different elements of it.

“Our students all appreciated the opportunity and I’m sure they picked up a few tips and tricks for their own matches!”
