Join us on the 20th May as The Big Match takes over The Den with celebrities, fans & ex-professional footballers, like Razor Ruddock & World Cup champions Ricky Villa and Osvaldo Ardiles, joining the action. Lets not forget to mention that ex-Millwall legend Jimmy Carter will also be lacing up his boots once again.

Founded in 2012 by Neil Humphries, The Big Match is a charity football event and family fun day that raises huge sums of money for The Brain Tumour Charity & Action for Children. For successive years Neil has hosted The Big Match at various different clubs firstly at Reading F.C - a club his father “loved so much” (The Big Match, 2016).

The day consists of three fantastic events starting with The Big Match Kidz for children aged 5-15 who can enjoy free professional coaching by our expert & highly qualified staff at the Millwall Community Trust. Here there will be ex-professional footballers getting involved and offering unique, personal advice. The Big Match itself will kick off soon after with teams made up of Celebrities, Ex-Footballers and the public where both teams will be competing for the illustrious Big Match Shield. Last but not least there is the Extra Time evening special where you can enjoy some wonderful food and entertainment with exciting guest appearances.

Overall this wonderful event boils down to its purpose – to raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity and Action for Children. These two inspiring charities work effortlessly all year round to restore a sense of belief in people’s lives again. Historically, Millwall’s association and work with various charities, or charitable causes, has often gone unnoticed – however that has never stopped us.

Early bird tickets, which are only £7.50, go off sale February 3rd 2017 so we urge you to get a ticket before its too late. This will be a day you won’t want to miss! Get tickets here!
