Millwall Community Trust Says Goodbye to Freddie Ruby

MCT are sad to be saying goodbye to our Education and Employability Manager, and diehard Millwall fan, Freddie Ruby, as he moves on to pastures new.

During his time at MCT, Freddie has been instrumental in the progression of our employment support and traineeship programmes, helping to build relationships with employers and businesses, and supporting many people in the local community.

Freddie has also helped develop the post-16 academy programme, with the academy continuing to expand and students going on to a range of careers, including some having trials with Millwall FC.

As part of his final week at the club, Freddie was surprised with a visit to Millwall FC’s training ground, where he got the opportunity to mix with the players and meet the boss Neil Harris.

Sean Daly, Football Development Manager, said: “Freddie is such a big part of everything we do here at MCT.

“He has helped us develop and progress a range of programmes, in his role as Education and Employability manager, and has built a broad range of vital relationships across our community.

“He will be sorely missed by everyone here at MCT, and we wish him all the best in the future.”
